THE sound of traffic in the centre of Woodstock will be replaced by music on Saturday and Sunday as the annual Woodstock Live festival takes over the square.
A line-up of 20 musicians and groups will play both days from 1pm into the evening.
There is music for all tastes, with the Bletchingdon Silver Band opening the festival on Saturday afternoon and the day’s events closing with a performance by young local pop-rockers Million Faces, who are making their debut at the event.
Giving an international flavour will be accordion player Sylvain Taussac, who is travelling from the South of France to join local musicians on stage.
The event is free, with all profits from the bar ploughed back into the costs of staging it.
