RESIDENTS in the Cowley Road area of Oxford lost electricity for nearly four hours this morning.
According to Southern Electric, 16 properties in the Kenilworth Court and Kenilworth Avenue area lost power between 5.30am and 9.15am.
The failure was caused when a fuse blew at the substation in Barracks Lane.
Southern Electric apologised for any inconvenience and thanked customers for their patience.
