BURFORD: A 59-year-old woman whose body was pulled from a channel off the River Windrush on Friday has not yet been formally named by police.
The woman’s body was spotted by a German couple on holiday at about 9.35am on Friday in the Mill Stream, near Church Lane.
She was named locally as Wendy.
An inquest is expected to be formally opened and adjourned in due course.
