YOU report that “men can now sit tests in skirts and women wear suits and bow ties to exams after Oxford University rewrote its strict academic dress code”, following “concern the laws were unfair to transgender students” (Oxford Mail, July 30). Never let it be said, folks, that this great, historic, world-renowned institution ever stands in the way of progress.
