SO Gillard Homes and Risk Capital say the Oxford Stadium is underused.

They are right in what they say because they have made it underused and run down since they bought the stadium.

There have been a few speedway promoters and they are still willing to put speedway back on at the stadium.

The track can also be used for dirt track racing, plus four days of greyhound racing.

Why not also bring back the great Sunday market which brought in a good income?

It also had a great clubhouse with snooker tables which was a great asset to the people of Blackbird Leys and the Oxford area.

The stadium could be used seven days a week and not underused.

So please, city councillors, keep to your original decision and back the parish council and the people of Oxford.

Turn down the planning application when it comes before you.

You will do a great service to the people of Oxford.
