Police investigating the death of a 48-year-old man in Horspath do not believe it was suspicious.
Officers were called at 7.50pm last night to a property in College Way, after a report a man had suffered serious injuries while working in is garden.
He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital but died from his injuries.
Det Con Rachel Jackson said: “There was an increased police presence in the area last night while we investigated the circumstance surrounding this man’s injuries.
“Although at this stage we are currently treating this death as unexplained we do not believe it to be suspicious.”
