HUNDREDS of families have been enjoying the sunshine in Blackbird Leys today.
More than 1,500 people attended the Blackbird Leys play day - the second in a series of events organised by the Oxfordshire Play Association.
Children have enjoyed street dance, climbing walls, circus skills, music and a host of other activities.
Co-organiser Jane Gallagher said the event had been more successful than they had ever hoped.
She said: “We hope this will now be an annual event and will grow and grow.”
For a full write-up of the event, see tomorrow’s Oxford Mail.
