A RARE first edition copy of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe signed by CS Lewis for an Oxford schoolboy in 1950 fetched £36,600 at Bloomsbury Auctions in London.
The book was given to Nicholas Hardie, the son of Oxford University classics scholar Colin Graham Hardie, a close friend of CS Lewis.
