A repeat offender has been given a suspended prison sentence for attacking a woman while he was subject to an antisocial behaviour order.
Anthony Begley, 25, of Thames View, Abingdon, was given a three-month jail sentence, suspended for a year, for the attack, along with a 12-month supervision order, when he appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Thursday. He was also ordered to pay £50 compensation and £50 costs.
He admitted a charge of assaulting Toni-Anne Carter by beating, after an incident in Abingdon on March 3.
