A nursery and pre-school where a third of the children speak English as a second language has been rated outstanding by Ofsted.
Culham Science Centre Nursery and Preschool was given the top rating in every area after an inspection last month.
At its previous inspection, it was rated good, with outstanding features.
Nursery manager Nikki Smith, pictured with four-year-olds Lizzie Pannett and Bethan Thompson, said: “We’re pleased, because we have been recognised for the hard work we have done and the staff have been recognised for their interaction with the children, how well they look after them and how happy they are.”
Inspector Jan Leo said in her report that the nursery had an “exceptionally strong management and staff team”.
Behaviour was described as exemplary and children happy and well occupied.
There are 75 children on roll, many of whose parents work at the science centre.
