FIVE-YEAR-OLD Leto Manda-Liu created a colourful elephant mask when she visited the Ashmolean Museum’s India galleries to explore the country’s rich culture and history.
On Thursday the museum, in Beaumont Street, Oxford, held a half-term day of Indian-themed craft activities, stories and object handling and Leto, from Headington, made a mask in the shape of the Hindu elephant god Ganesh.
She said: “I had a fantastic time. I was really proud of my mask and I wore it the whole day.”
