I’m writing this letter as a means to vent my frustration and abhorrence with society and its apparent moral breakdown.

I was lead to believe that humans, as a species, had the power to reason and make complex intricate decisions which, with the aid of rational thought, could provide a stable natural environment for future generations.

This, however, doesn’t seem to apply if you live in a village like Minster Lovell.

I’m constantly dismayed that people out side the village seem to think that Minster should be a general refuge dumping ground for rubbish and vandalism, especially around the meadow and ruins.

I know we lack adequate waste bins in these areas for the rubbish that accumulates, due to outside party revellers, but that is no excuse to defecate in the ruins and to turn a beauty spot into a potential landfill eyesore.

I’m proud of my village as are many other community-minded individuals and if you can’t obey a few courtesy rules like taking your rubbish home with you then STAY AWAY.
