Sir – Congratulations to Oxfordshire County Council for organising the national cycling racing in St Giles.
It was a wonderful day and hugely successful, particularly for the hundreds of children involved. Let’s hope it returns next year. And perhaps further thought might be given to using the scenic spaces of St Giles for similar sorts of events.
