Campaigners said two Sudanese men remained on hunger strike at Campsfield House immigration detention centre yesterday.
Members of the Campaign to Close Campsfield said the two men, Mohammed Tagal and Malik Adam, who are seeking asylum in the UK from the war-torn region of Darfur, have refused food and vitamins for 11 days.
Campaign spokesman Tim Flatman said the two men had been advised by doctor at Campsfield House to end their hunger strike.
A demonstration in their support was held at Carfax in Oxford on Friday.
