STUDENTS took a break from their work to pit themselves against each other – in a tortoise race.
The annual Corpus Tortoise Fair and featured a race between tortoises from different colleges.
About 200 people turned up to see the tortoises battle it out to be first across a lawn to a prize of lettuce at Corpus Christi College.
Sunday’s race was won by Adrian Duncan of Worcester College with a tortoise called Zoom.
