THOSE on the lookout for a new car can get their motor running later this month with a weekend of test drive motoring heaven.
The Oxford Mail has teamed up with 26 car dealerships to offer free test drives on Saturday, June 23, and Sunday, June 24.
And anyone getting behind the wheel at our Big Test Drive Weekend will be entered into a prize draw to win £500 worth of Tesco vouchers.
Oxford Mail motors sales manager Maureen Vale said: “If you are looking for a new car that weekend is the weekend to start looking.”
Among the dealerships taking part will be Mercedes-Benz of Oxford, based at Langford Lane in Kidlington.
General manager Ray Armstrong said he expects there to be strong interest in the new B-class range.
Other motors available range from compact Smart cars to top-of-the-range AMG models. Mr Armstrong said: “The idea of a test drive weekend where people can jump in a car without any obligation is a great idea.”
Oxford Mail assistant editor Jason Collie said: “The weekend will be an amazing chance to test out that new car you’ve been promising yourself.”
