HUNDREDS of music fans packed the Regal Centre in Wallingford for the annual blues and beer festival.
The event at the venue in St Martin’s Street took place on Friday and Saturday night.
Acts included Mud Morganfield, the son of blues legend Muddy Waters, who played on Friday. He headlined with his band, playing a mix of classic Muddy Waters’ songs and original numbers.
Other acts include Earl Green, one of the UK’s most popular blues vocalists, the Riverside Blues Band, and 24 Pesos.
There was also a large number of different ales, including beers brewed specially for the Jubilee.
Chairman of the festival John Curry said: “The festival went really well and music fans loved seeing a legend like Mud Morganfield in a little town like Wallingford.
“The artists were superb and everyone in the hall really enjoyed themselves.
“There must have been about 800 or 900 people through the doors.”
Each year the festival raises money for charity – this year’s proceeds will help The Music Club, which gives young people with disabilities the opportunity to make music, and Wallingford Rowing Club.
