As the candidate who came second in Bicester North Ward election, it would seem the 300 votes I received does show the strength of feeling against the north-west Bicester development.
That is accentuated by the many people from outside North Ward who have expressed concerns to me also.
The opportunity for proper consultation on these extensive plans is coming soon.
The Cherwell Local Plan will soon be published and that will give us all the chance to say exactly what we feel about the eco-plans and the other major developments proposed for our town.
I do hope all those with concerns about North-West Bicester will take the opportunity to put them in writing to the council.
