MYSTERY still surrounds the death of a 25-year-old woman found dead in Wood Farm.

Jade Parr was found by paramedics in a flat in Territorial Way after a member of the public alerted them about 8.35pm Sunday night.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious but a post mortem examination yesterday was unable to find the cause of death. Further tests will now be carried out.

Det Insp Rob France, who is overseeing the investigation, said: “Although we do not have a cause of death at this time, the examination revealed that there were no injuries on the woman’s body or any signs that force had been used on her.

“I am aware that there has been a lot of inaccurate speculation and rumour in the community about this death and I hope that will now come to an end.

“We do not believe that this incident is suspicious at this time and we will continue to try to work out what caused her untimely death.”

Ms Parr is believed to have had a child. On Monday, her brother Craig Parr wrote on Facebook: “There are no words to describe how much she is loved by her family and friends and will be missed.

“Thank you everyone for your kind words, love and support.”
