A WOMAN has appeared in court charged with conning four people out of £30,000.
Emma Hunter, 32, from Corbett Road, Carterton, was bailed after appearing at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday accused of five counts of fraud by using false legal letters to persuade them to hand over money.
She is said to have posed as Diana Bagnell and Louis Thomas in writing and sending letters to Patrice Morris, Peter Luckett, Mark Larney and Debbie Larney.
Hunter has been bailed until July 11 when she will appear before Reading magistrates again for a committal hearing.
