ARTWORK by budding Kandinskys, Picassos and Banksys has gone on display at a Bicester school.
Children aged five to seven from Brookside School, in Bucknell Road, were inspired by the work of famous artists to produce their own ideas.
Children learned about Pablo Picasso, Thomas Gainsborough, Wassily Kandinksy and graffiti artist and political activist Banksy.
Work has gone on display in the school’s Xander Gallery, named in memory of nine-year-old pupil Xander Blay-Rochead, who died in 2004 after an asthma attack.

Jack, seven, said: “I enjoyed doing Turner most. I liked using acrylic .”
Teacher Phoebe Davies said: “They visited the Ashmolean and did printing, collage, drawing and painting.”
The exhibition will be open until the start of the summer holidays in July.
Afterwards parents will be able to buy paintings.
