l YOUR article ‘Hidden Army’ (Oxford Mail, April 6) and the front cover brought home to me the number of people and the vast amount of work involved in repatriation ceremonies.
Although I’m sure everyone will hope there will never be the need for yet another one, we must be practical and realise that there will be many more before this so-called war is finished.
Thanks to all the residents of Brize Norton and Carterton, all those who wait along the A40 on the route to Oxford, as well as those at the ‘final turn’ into the JR.
The families of the Fallen can be sure it will continue as long as the need is there.
