A HEROIN addict who burgled a string of addresses in his home town, including a pub, has been jailed.
Jamie Woodley broke into nine buildings on a crime spree in and around Abingdon.
The 24-year-old was jailed for 30 months at Oxford Crown Court after admitting one charge of burglary and asking for eight others to be taken into consideration.
The crimes were committed between March 2010 and March this year.
He broke into properties in Godfrey Close, Avon Road, Blacknall Road, Drayton Road and two properties in Oxford Road, all in Abingdon.
He also burgled the town’s Nag’s Head pub and twice entered properties in Milton Road, Sutton Courtenay.
Woodley, from Thames View, Abingdon, has 17 previous convictions, including three other burglaries, the court heard.
Lucy Ffrench, defending, said: “It reflects a drug addiction that has become out of control.”
