TATTOOISTS are offering a permanent reminder of people’s generosity to charity with a special fundraising day.

Staff at Acreedo Tattoos in Abingdon, are offering designs for as little as £20 in aid of Oxford’s Sobell House hospice.

All proceeds will go to the charity and staff are hoping to raise more than £1,000.

The designs will be themed around paying tributes to cancer patients and the terminally ill.

Tattoo artist Adam Jeffs said: “We’re hoping for a good turnout and to raise as much money as we can.

“I know a lot of people who have had family members at Sobell House.

“It’s a local charity and I have heard so many good things about it.”

Mr Jeffs had a tattoo of the Sobell House logo done last week. He plans to be working for eight hours from 10am with two other artists at the studio during the fundraising day on Saturday, April 28.
