BAD Eggs comes to a close today with a man wanted over an attempted robbery in Cowley.

Police officers are hoping that this e-fit image will lead them to two men who threatened a woman as they tried to snatch her bag and phone.

The 39-year-old victim was sitting in Cowley Marsh Park at about 6.30pm on Thursday, March 29, when the pair preyed on her.

The offenders put an object against her back saying they had a knife, and demanded her possessions but she refused to hand them over and they fled empty-handed.

The e-fit matches the description of one of the two Asian men who was skinny, about 6ft tall and had black spiked hair.

His face was pock marked and he had bushy eyebrows and stubble on his top lip.

The other suspect was of a stocky build with black hair combed forward in a straight line. His face was chubby and he had a big hooked nose.

Both were aged about 25.

After our Badvent Christmas crime crackdown led to eight arrests detectives are hoping that Oxford Mail readers will once again help them to find elusive Oxford suspects.

Det Sgt John Linsdell, of Oxford CID, said: “We are very grateful to the public for the support that they gave us with the Badvent campaign and the success that led to.

“Bad Eggs at Easter gives the public another opportunity to assist us in a very valuable way and we are not ruling out further campaigns throughout the year so we can work with the local community to make Oxford a safer city. In many cases we rely on the general public to come forward and give us the information to solve crime – we regard all information given to us by the public as very valuable.”
