Olympic statues sculpted with the help of children will be on show at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford from Monday.
The life-size gold, silver, and bronze figures are the work of Oxfordshire artist Francesca Shakespeare, second left.
On Wednesday children, including Olga Egereva, left, were asked to help with the project as part of Oxfordshire Artweeks.
Festival director Esther Browning, right, had her limbs covered in cling film, then caked in modroc plaster, to make casts for the gold statue.
The keen triathlete and Oxford Mail columnist said: “There were dozens of children clamouring to slap lots of bits of wet plaster on me.”
The statues will stay at the museum until the end of May when they move to the White Horse Leisure Centre in Abingdon.
Children also made their own Olympic medals during the event at museum.
