BANBURY: The famous Banbury Cross will be gleaming in time for the Diamond Jubilee.
The metal cross will be removed and de-rusted, stonework will be cleaned and shields repainted and enamelled.
The work to the monument, built in 1859, is being organised by Banbury Town Council.
