BANBURY: A man who had fallen asleep in a chair was rescued from a flat blaze after food in his oven caught fire.
A neighbour called the fire brigade at about 9.50pm on Tuesday.
The Christchurch Court resident was treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation and firefighters, who rescued the man, fitted a smoke alarm in his house.
