THREE lanes of the M40 are closed after an accident between junctions 10 and 9 at 7.37am today.
A 4x4 towing a trailer carrying another car hit the central reservation on the southbound carriageway.
The Highways Agency said it had closed the middle and fast lanes southbound and also the fast lane northbound while it removes the vehicles and repairs the barrier.
Drivers are experiencing delays of up to half an hour.
The fire service was called to the scene, but no one was trapped in the cars. It is not known if anyone was injured in the collision.
