PRIME Minister David Cameron took a break from the dog-eat-dog world of politics to meet users of a hearing dogs charity.

The Witney MP returned from the USA, where he discussed global politics with President Barack Obama, to visit Hearing Dogs for Deaf People — where he met Cameron the dog.

The charity, which is celebrating its 30th birthday, trains guide dogs to alert deaf people to important sounds or danger signals.

Cameron, a 10-week-old black Labrador, is its latest recruit and met the Prime Minister at Heythrop Park in Enstone yesterday.
