After a four week wait to replay the earlier cancelled fixture both teams were focused and ready to go. The first half was a very tense 15 minutes with neither team not wanting to give anything away.Florence Park did create some opportunities though but the closest they came was from a fierce strike which was denied by the post.

After the break Florence Park seemed to settle and started to play positive football. The home team created chance after chance but the red number 1 was in fine form pulling off some fine savees. Eventually the lead was found after Callum Crook paced down the left wing, cut inside and smashed the ball top corner leaving the keeper helpless. Park continued to create further opportunities but again Didcot's keeper continued to deny them.

With 2 minutes to go there was aheart in the mouth moment for both players and spectators after a fine shot from the left wing seemed to be heading over the keepers head. However Kaishaan Willett somehow managed to claw the shot off the line maintaining the home sides lead. Florence Park then continued to apply pressure seeing out the remaining time until the referee's final whistle was heard.

The realisation then set in for the players that they had secured the top spot in the Blue League, which is made up of some great footballing teams.
