POLICE searching for missing Abingdon woman Joanna Lake have found a body in a stream.
Ms Lake, 58, has been missing since a friend last saw her at her home in Pudsey Close on February 20.
Last night a police spokesman said a woman's body had been found in a stream off the Thames in the town.
While the body had not been formally identified yet, it was believed to be Ms Lake, she added.
It was too early to determine the cause of death, but "it is not thought to be suspicious," the spokesman said.
