A 31-year-old man admitted breaking windows at his father’s house and assaulting his stepfather.
Rikki Brackett appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court yesterday and admitted committing the offences over the weekend.
Brackett smashed his father Eamon’s windows in Pegasus Road, Blackbird Leys, on Sunday evening before going to Nunnery Close where he confronted his paralysed mother Kimberley and her carer and partner Tony East.
He pushed and slapped Mr East before police arrived, prosecutor Sophie Chaplin said.
Brackett, of no fixed address, admitted assault by beating and criminal damage. He also admitted a shoplifting offence and asked for two thefts to be taken into consideration.
He was remanded in custody ahead of a bail hearing next week before sentencing on March 20.
