IN REPLY to Keith Mitchell’s opposition in the Oxford Mail to TV coverage of Iranian and Al Jazeera output.

British TV often paints an inaccurate view as to what has, or is, taking place in Iraq. Afghanistan, Libya and Iran.

In spite of millions being spent and lives lost, freedom is a distant illusion to most of their citizens.

Iran has economic sanctions imposed, but Foreign Secretary William Hague pledged financial help.

The US, UK and Israel are in the forefront of warmongering and looking for weapons of mass destruction.

Israel, with US backing, continues with UN violations with an estimated 300 illegal nuclear warheads, while Palestinians suffer from areas of advancing occupation and are deprived basic health needs.

Our TV portrays Israel as bearing the burden of the conflict, or at best, equal blame.

Hostility will increase where undemocratic impositions continue, be it Greece, the NHS at home or Palestine.
