So Councillor Tanner wants to spend £420,000 on revamping Oxford toilets.
This is the same council which some years ago closed toilets to save money, but then spent even more money to open others.
So long as they are tidy, have wash basins, and loo rolls, what more is needed?
Will overseas visitors miss the colleges and say: “We must see the toilets – they are famous”?
When will Councillor Tanner retire?
