WOMEN struggling with prison life is the subject of a new musical from Witney amateur theatre company Abdabs.
Bad Girls the Musical, a West End production based on the ITV drama, will be performed at Henry Box School in Church Green this week.
For Abdabs Community Theatre it continues the theme of bringing controversial theatre to Witney, after last year’s production of The Full Monty.
Wayne said: “Jim’s a sinister and manipulative individual. From an acting perspective it’s a real challenge, and I like a challenge.”
The musical, which is for over 16s only because of the content, will be performed from 7pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Tickets cost £7.50 for adults and £5 for concessions and can be bought from Rapture in the Woolgate Shopping Centre or by contacting Abdabs on 08456 343192 or enquiries@abdabs-yt.co.uk
