A home filled with smoke on Saturday after a cooker caught fire.
Two fire engines were called to the blaze in Longleat Close at noon and crews using breathing apparatus put the fire out.
No one was injured thanks to the timing of the fire and firefighters said the occupier’s smoke alarm was not working.
Two fire engines were also called to extinguish a cooker blaze in a home in Talbot Fields, off Aston Road, Bampton on Friday at about 10.25pm.
