WE ARE often quick to judge other people’s abilities from their outward appearance.
So the story of how pool whizz Oliver Mulford is beating his opponents, by using his rare condition to his advantage, is a lesson to us all.
The 4ft 8in tall teenager – who suffers from chronic juvenile arthritis – is underestimated by his opponents.
But he manages to use that to play a more strategic game, get closer to his shots, and thrash his competitors.
We wish him all the best in the EBA World and Masters Blackball Championships in Bridlington next month.
