Children turned their hands from school work to circus skills as clowns came to Wantage for a special half-term holiday show.
Comedy duo Circus Berzercus appeared at Wantage Civic Hall yesterday.
From left, Riven Heredge, three, Barnaby Terry, who was celebrating his fourth birthday, and his sister Elspeth Terry, seven, were asked to help out on stage during the show, which was enjoyed by more than 100 people.
Dad Peter Terry, 47, of Grove, said: “They enjoyed themselves. A few of them got called up to help.”
Ben Cornish, aka Gerald the Juggler, pictured left, added: “The show is a mixture of circus skills, juggling and unicycling, and we get a lot of participation from children.
“It’s really good for the half-term break, as it gives the children a chance to see a live show, rather than staying in and watching the television.”
