THE mentality of a man who would attack a complete stranger in the street is hard to grasp, particularly when the victim is a young woman.
A week on, Kerry Hastings is still feeling the physical and psychological effects of being jumped from behind and punched.
Sadly, her attacker escaped, despite the intervention of a group of men who witnessed the attack.
