A move to create a shared fire control centre with Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service was yesterday backed by Oxfordshire County Council’s cabinet member for safer and stronger communities.
Judith Heathcoat said work should continue to form a business case for the joint control room and a decision could be made by the cabinet in July.
