THE overnight snow has added to the usual morning travel woes for drivers.
On the M40 drivers were delayed between junctions 8a for Oxford and 11 for Banbury, after snowfall blocked the fast lane on both carriageways.
Recovery work is under way to remove a car which has gone into the hedge at the A415 near Abingdon, and an overturned car on the eastbound A40 London Road, which was blocking drivers at Park Hill, Wheatley.
Traffic lights have also failed along the Botley Road, in Oxford, at its junction with Ferry Hinksey Road.
Engineers are on their way to fix the problem.
