THE councillor responsible for Oxfordshire County Council’s budget has repeated his warnings of uncertainty over funding in the coming years.
Jim Couchman told a cabinet meeting on Tuesday the council was on course to achieve £54m of savings in the current year, but the ongoing financial crisis could mean it would need to find extra ones beyond the £119m it is due to cut from its budget by 2015.
