HUNDREDS of homes in Carterton and Minster Lovell have been left without water this morning caused by a burst pipe.
Four schools have also announced they will be forced to close because of the problem in a field near Burford Road.
Edith Moorhouse Primary School, Gateway Primary School, St John the Evangelist Church of England Primary School and St Kenelm's Church of England Primary School will remain closed all day.
Thames Water engineers are currently out trying to fix the problem.
Company spokesman Becky Johnson said they had received more than 200 calls about the problem already this morning.
She was unable to say when the water would be restored.
