Oxford United have rejected a second bid from Swindon Town for striker James Constable
An initial offer for the U's leading scorer was turned down by United.
But a second bid from Swindon within 24 hours has also been rejected.
Swindon boss Paolo Di Canio has made no secret of his desire to land Constable, but when asked in a press conference today if he would be doing all he could to land the 27-year-old, the Italian replied: "I don't know.
"There are clubs talking about some situations but I don’t want to talk about this. I want to focus the attention on this game (against Rotherham)."
"Once I know we can go through with a deal for a player and that player can sign for us then I will speak about him."
