THAMES Valley Police want to speak to a man about a vicious attack in which a man’s jaw was broken in three places.
It is thought the man may have witnessed the assault in the toilets of Izi’s cafe and wine bar in Market Square, Witney, in November.
Police did not release details of the incident at the time, but a spokesman said the CCTV image which prompted the witness appeal had only just become available.
A 36-year-old man was followed into the toilets and attacked just before 3am on Sunday, November 13.
He did not see who attacked him.
Investigating officer Dc Paddy O’Grady said: “This was a vicious attack, which has left the victim with a serious injury.
“We would like to speak to the man in the CCTV image, who may have been a witness, or anyone who can identify him.”
Anyone who can help should call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
