BIKE owners whose cycles were removed from Oxford train station have until Sunday to claim them back.
Some 40 bikes were removed on December 18 and 19, two weeks after warning stickers were left on them by train firm First Great Western.
Some have been claimed but time is running out for the remaining bikes to be returned.
A First Great Western spokesperson said: “We conduct these removals on advice from the British Transport Police and also to benefit the many cyclists who commute from Oxford.
“A long term build-up of uncollected bicycles not only encourages potential bike thieves, but it also blocks space needed by regular bike users.”
Cyclists wanting to reclaim bikes should approach a member of station staff at Oxford or call 0777 332 5552.
