THOMAS Kelley (ViewPoints, December 28) tells us Government legislation is trying to give local communities more say on issues such as the proposed road on green space at Northway.
In the same issue, Bill Bryson tells us the Government is proposing to reform the planning system so as to remove the protection many green areas currently have against unwanted development.
I cannot help wondering whether the two policies will cancel each other out.
