ROYAL Mail has failed miserably (Oxford Mail, December 27).
In early December I ordered a special deal of two replacement printer ink cartridges that were cheaper than two single purchases.
On December 10 the cartridges were dispatched in two identical packs, making my order a two-part order to avoid VAT.
On December 14 a single cartridge arrived with the paperwork saying this was part two of a two-part order and part one of the order had been dispatched at the same time.
This part of the order failed to arrive, so the supplier has sent out another one.
How can Royal Mail lose one of two identical packages addressed to the same recipient and posted together?
