A FLASHER convicted for exposing himself when drunk has been jailed for four weeks.
Stuart Thorn, of Coleridge Close, Cowley, was sent to prison by Oxford magistrates for breaching his Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) by being drunk in the city centre.
The 49-year-old was given the order in June 1997 for indecent exposure.
On Wednesday, Thorn was jailed after he admitted breaching his order by causing a drunken disturbance at Sainsbury’s in Magdalen Street after staff refused to sell him more booze. He also admitted breaching his order by being drunk in George Street on November 26.
The court heard that although Thorn had previous convictions for flashing when drunk he had not exposed himself during the latest incidents.
